Oh em gee, I don’t know where to start.
Our 2 hour first meeting?
Our 2 hour second meeting?
No matter where I start, no matter what happened, or got in the way of the wedding that they originally planned (change of dates, venues, even Ketubah’s) they weren’t at all phased-it was a pretty impressive site to see.
Even with the weather. Now, typically, when it rains on a wedding day, people will tell the bride things like, “oh, it’s good luck” or, “it’s a blessing.” In this case, rain is sort of an understatement…it poured.
At an outdoor venue (a gorgeous one, though: The Tuscan Villa Estate in Simi Valley).
Still, the rain wasn’t an issue. A quick call to Gems Parties and a couple of hours later-problem solved. Deanna was completely cool and calm (and having a dress designed by a seamstress at the LA Opera House doesn’t hurt either).
Despite the rain, mud, change of plans, change of schedule…Deanna and Joshua kept focused on what was truly important-each other; and it showed.
