Waverly Chapel Wedding ~ Alexandra and Albert

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

Yes, Alexandra and Albert have their photos…really! Their beautiful, romantic (and super fun) winter wedding was a few months ago at JC Fandango’s in Anaheim (Amazing venue to photograph in-look at some of these detail photos). This was following a very sweet ceremony (full of laughter-which is how it should be) at the Waverly Chapel in Santa Ana. Alex and Albert opted for a first look, and I’m really glad they did because it just felt like the day was really relaxed after that point (well, they were both pretty chill up to that point anyway so this just added to it) and we got lots of beautiful photos of the two of them (and her blue roses-the only other bride I’ve ever seen with them!! Whoo hoo!!).

One of my new favorite coordinators, Weddings By Monica, coordinated the ceremony and reception and did a fabulous job, I don’t think I saw her sit down once. I know I have to keep reminding myself that you can’t pick favorites, but I really, really lucked out getting to meet and work with them-I could not have ASKED for nicer, (and funnier) clients.

Christina, Steve, Sydney, and Spencer

Sunday, January 3rd, 2010

You may remember this family from last year. It was incredible to see how much Sydney and Spencer have grown over the last year (and how mobile they’ve become). This year, we did our sitting at Lake Mission Viejo, a beautiful spot in Mission Viejo-we’re so glad we got the opportunity to see it-and to work with this great family again. Christina, we can’t wait to see the family next year!

Rancho Santa Margarita Photography ~ Samantha and Manny

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

I thought Samantha and Manny would be the perfect sitting to introduce the new blog. They were referred to me by one of my favorite couples, Christina and Cameron (thank you, thank you!) and Samanta had the best idea for a location.

There’s this beautiful, unassuming field in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. When you round the corner, the field opens up and provides some of the most stunning backdrops I’ve ever gotten to photograph.

Sam and Manny were open to anything and some beautiful ideas of their own (I loved his idea of the ring and barbed wire). They’re a beautiful couple and were incredible to photograph.

See you guys in May…and everyone else, I hope you enjoy the new blog as much as I do.
