Leo Carrillo Engagment Photography ~ Raquel and Richie ~ The Engagement

Friday, September 23rd, 2011

This is how sweet Raquel is: When we met almost a year ago, I mentioned that Brian and I were planning to have a wedding reception in Ireland a few months after our meeting. It was a quick, casual mention and I didn’t say anything else about it…fast forward a year later. Raquel not only remembers that we were planning the reception, but brings us a wedding gift as well. And Richie is just as sweet: right after our meeting, he emails me a photo of the two of them taken when they were about 6 years old and asks me about helping with a surprise gift for Raquel. They have a great story which I’ll share when I blog their wedding. That’s just Raquel and Richie. They’re two of the nicest people you would hope to meet and so sweet; I loved watching them interact with each other-this session made me look forward to their wedding even more! (If that was possible)!

My favorite from the day…

Malibu West Beach Club Wedding Photographer ~ Nancy and Mike ~ The Wedding

Friday, May 28th, 2010

When my friend Debbie from Get Reel asked me to shoot Nancy and Mike’s Malibu West Beach Club wedding with her, I was so excited. I’ve been working with Debbie for years, just as a videographer, so I was excited to work with her as a photographer! We had a great time; nice couple, fantastic location, and beautiful details. Thanks for asking me to shoot with you, Debbie-looking forward to doing it again.

St. Monica’s Church Wedding Photographer ~ Jessica and Milton ~ The Wedding

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

Jessica and Milton, thank you, thank you for your patience while I figured out the new blog. Where do I start with your wedding? I loved everything about it; the emotion the two of you were not shy about showing everyone around you, especially during your ceremony at St. Monica’s how your main priorities were photos of your family; especially grandma and grandpa, how you gave Brian and I lots of time at the beach for photos of the two of you (to all future brides, pretty please give us this much time-you won’t regret it, really!!!), your awesome reception at Dukes (bubbles! loved it!)…it was a perfect day. It was sooooo hard to narrow down photos for the blog but here are some of my favorites. They’ll be on their way to you very soon. Thank you for everything, you two. We really appreciated your ideas and your trust in us.

Ok, I have to explain the feather. Now, my brides and grooms know I’m not a fan of anything artificial in photos, but, when we were on the beach, complete strangers were offering Jessica and Milton wine, drinks…and feathers. How could you not take a feather? And they look adorable.
