You know when you meet someone SO sweet, that you just can’t imagine that they’re that nice all the time? That’s Lydia. Every interaction we had; from our meetings to our engagement session-Lydia was just calm and sweet through the whole thing.
So, I thought, with the stress of a wedding day, I’d get to see the “other” side…the one we all have when we get stressed out.
Nope. Jaime, you are one incredibly lucky man. Lydia is just that sweet all the time. There were a few external stressors on her day that she had to deal with and she handled each one with a calm and grace I can only aspire to learn from.
They also had a dream team of vendors, including one of my new favorite coordinators, Dee, of No Worries Event Planning. Some of the other vendors from the day included:
Mariachi Cuicatlan
Hilton Glendale
Shirvan Design
Porto’s Bakery (the site of our first meeting)
And Grooms…Jaime set a high bar for romance: he serenaded his new bride in front of over 200 people. Is he a singer? No, he just knew one of her favorite songs and wanted to express how he felt to her-that made for one of the most beautiful moments of the evening.
