So, the one thing about being a terrible blogger is that when I go through photos to post, it’s like getting to relive the day again (yes, they got their photos AGES ago). This wedding was particularly bittersweet for me. This was the last wedding I did before deciding to cut back to part time and make my MSW program my full time priority. Tears may have been shed-which, is a good thing. To me, it meant that being a wedding photographer for all these years was the right decision, and it’s definitely not something I want to give up entirely anytime soon. And Jenn and Shane were just the right couple to end my terrific run with. They were super sweet, didn’t seem phased by anything that went wrong, were just incredible to be around, and if you ever get the chance to attend a wedding with LAFD firefighters-truly a great group to be around (even in light of their um, “cake customization” tradition).
