Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel Wedding ~ Deseree and Michael

When Deseree and Michael described their vision for their Disney/Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding to me when we met I was so excited to see their vision brought to reality. I loved the subtle charm and elegance of their wedding (and Brian, my Arsenal loving husband was even able to mostly look past the subtle nods to the Chelsea FC they also incorporated throughout their day). It was another gorgeous wedding with flawless details brought to life by Party and Be Married.

Sepan Banquet Hall Wedding ~ Manizheh and Julio

This wedding was very special for me. It was the 6th wedding I’ve photographed for one of my favorite families. It means the world to me that they trust us with another one of their once in a lifetime events. Manny and Julio had the perfect day: Starting with a delightful and new priest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church . Then, we did their bridal session at an area close to my heart where I spent many of my childhood days – Ferndell Nature Museum in Griffith Park. We finished up their day at the Sepan Banquet Hall in Atwater Village. And, like a woman after my own heart, Manny said she wasn’t much of a crafter but that she learned for her wedding. You would never be able to tell that this was her first time doing this because every single one of her wedding crafts (including her flowers) were fabulous.

Carondelet House Wedding ~ Aldo and Joseph

Aldo and Joseph, with their incredible coordinator, Kim, from The Love Riot, designed the perfect wedding day at the Carondelet House. This gorgeous couple was absolutely surrounded by loved ones and you could absolutely feel the love in the room for these two and I was so delighted and honored to be a part of this. I also had the incredible opportunity to once again work with Brian (other Brian) of McCarthy Photo Studio.

Orcutt Ranch Wedding ~ Nate and Amy

Orcutt Ranch is probably one of my favorite places in all of the valley to photograph. You are spoiled for choice with locations, fantastic weather, parking (you LA natives all know how important this is), and there are parts of this property that just seem to take you away to another time. Also, complete and amazing result of this particular wedding? (Besides new friends for Brian and I)? Another wedding a couple of years later between one of my closest friends and the Bride’s beautiful sister, and MOH-and it started innocently enough with a simple question at their venue walkthrough: “Do you know anyone who’s single?” Why yes, yes I did. Amy and Nate had so many personal touches to their wedding; and really made a point of making sure all of their guests had a wonderful time. They are two of the funniest people I know and it such a joy to get to capture this day.
